Welcome to the third post on our vacation to Orlando, Florida (see previous posts here).
We decided to spend this day at Disney's Hollywood Studios park. This turned out to be really fun. We started things off at a show that included most of the Disney Channel's Disney Playhouse characters. G-Man loves these shows, so we had fun:
We toured the Disney Animation Studios and encountered a special treat - a class to teach basic animation drawing:
My oldest son's drawing was actually pretty good. Also inside the Animation Studios, we were able to meet Mr. Incredible and Fro-Zone:
By lunch - I was anxious to try a unique menu item...a turkey leg. No joke, as this was an entire leg:
I'll be honest - the idea of an entire turkey leg was much better than trying to actually eat an entire turkey leg. I don't want any more turkey until Thanksgiving, thank you very much.
By this time, G-Man was really into meeting characters, especially those from the Disney Playhouse shows. He wanted to go right back and meet them all:
Leo and Annie from Little Einsteins
June and Quincy from Little Einsteins
JoJo and Goliath
We were able to watch one of the parades through the park. G-Man's head almost exploded when he saw Woody, Buzz and The Incredibles all together ; )

You can't see the stream of sweat running down my back...it was Africa-hot.
Then, it was right back to characters, as G-Man was getting really comfortable with the whole idea:

Handy Manny

His favorites: Buzz Lightyear and Woody
We were tired and headed out of the park for a little rest, before fireworks that night. We hit a few shops on Main Street:

That evening, we returned to the Magic Kingdom, to see the SpectroMagic Parade (older folks might remember the Electric Light Parade):
My oldest son took turns with me, so that G-Man could see over the crowds

I hope everyone got to go on The Rockin' Rollercoaster and The Tower of Terror at the studios too. They are my personal faves!
