Day 2 of my quick trip to Seattle was spent in a day-long meeting with the Windows 7 marketing team. This was a day to brief all the "partners" that were making products that will work closely with Windows 7. We learned all about their marketing, PR and product plans for the next year. This way, we can make sure that we take advantage of everything that Microsoft is doing. Here are a couple of fuzzy snapshots of what we saw (I wasn't supposed to take pictures):
This went on for about 9 hours ; ) It was useful information, to be sure...just a long time to sit in a chair and listen....
The rest of the conference attendees went bowling that evening, but I was able to have dinner with my daughter again. We went to an awesome sushi restaurant in Seattle, called Blue C Sushi:
They even had action figures available on the sushi conveyer!!!
What a wonderful trip! Lots of good work, combined with spending time with my daughter and her fiancé. Bonus! I can't wait to get back home...

Spending time with Amanda and Darren would be a bonus FOR SURE.
