Toronto, Canada

Today, I'm in Toronto.  This makes a trip for every week in December!  I'm in Toronto to attend a series of meetings with my boss - and my peers.  It's so much better to conduct these meetings face-to-face.

I arrived in Toronto last night, around 11pm.  I was greeted with a huge snow storm (Welcome to Canada!).  The temps were around 19 degrees, and I had a tough time driving the rental car through the un-plowed snow.

In downtown Toronto, you'll find the CN Tower - when it was built, it was the tallest building in the world (1974).  At over 1,800 ft. tall, it broadcasts over 30 television and FM radio stations.  Now, it also handles a ton of cel phone traffic ; )  It's fun to travel to the top, like any good observation deck.

My folks lived in Toronto for a while, in the 1980s.  That's where my youngest brother was born.  When we visited, they would always try to bring us downtown to the CN tower.  My kids loved the long elevator ride to the top ; )

Just a note - after next week's trip for Christmas, I will actually stay put in Boston for a few weeks.  No business travel more than 40 miles away!  It will be nice to prove that I'm still active at Church ; )

And just to prove how active you really are, will you plan on teaching our quorum the assigned lesson? I believe it's #20

YOU MUST HAVE BEEN COLD ; )

My hands sweat just thinking about that ride to the top of the CN Tower.
