I find that when I'm traveling without my family - it gets a little boring. If I have any down-time, I now have a way to use that time productively. I have no idea how this will take shape (chronological, alphabetical, etc), but I promise a bunch of interesting pictures ; ) Entries may be lengthy - until I figure out a comfortable pattern.
My apologies for spelling and grammatical mistakes. I'm also still learning how to use the blogging tools (I'm resisting the urge to rewrite this entire thing in my own HTML code). However, I'll take advantage of the time-saving tools - until they drive me to jump off a bridge.
I view this blog as a sort of journal. In our Church, we've been asked to keep a journal - recording the important events in our life and spiritual observations. If you've ever been lucky enough to find a journal from an ancestor - they provide a great deal of insight into individuals and times/places. I want this blog to at least record my travels...and observations along the way.
Why the name Where Is Diggity Now? I received the nickname Diggity from my wife's family. The folks at work are always trying to figure out where I'm traveling, on a specific day. They created a map on the wall to track my whereabouts. Hence, the similarity to Where's Waldo?
Another thing you will discover, is that I don't use family members' names. I will use the terms wife, son, sister, sister-in-law, etc. I want to protect others' privacy.
I hope you enjoy the blog, and always welcome suggestions or comments. I know you have plenty to do, and appreciate the time you spend with me here.
